Selecting a Service or User for the File Service
The IIS web server installation process must be completed before installing SmartSync Server. You will also need to set up a Windows user to run the SmartSync Server process.

Anonymous Authentication can be used in situations where the IIS server hosting SmartSync Server is only available from an internal network.

Configuring Publish Folders for Client Files
Complete the SmartSync Server setup by configuring the publish folders. These folders will contain the published client files and the top-level parent files. All paths to the folders are specified in the IIS configuration.
