Column Descriptions

The following is a list and a brief description of all the columns available in the Engagements pane. If you see a column in this list that is not displayed in Tracker, then your information may have been filtered in a view, or otherwise customized.

The data in each column flows from data in Working Papers. The following tables show the columns subdivided into Working Papers fields and SmartSync fields.

Many of the columns in Tracker display information taken from the Engagement Properties dialog in Working Papers. The columns and their corresponding engagement properties fields are grouped below by their tabs in the Working Papers dialog.

Columns that display other general properties about the Working Papers file are listed below.

Column Description

Compressed

In the Compressed column, files that are uncompressed show the following icon .

Once the files are compressed, the icon changes to indicate compressed status .

Visible

Files with a check mark in the check box are visible; files without a check mark are hidden. You can filter the files to hide client files that are not relevant to your work.

Version This column displays the version number of Working Papers that the client file is in.
File Name The file name under which the client file is saved is displayed in this column.
Folder Group 1 The path showing the parent folder of the folder where the client file (.ac or .ac_) is located is displayed.
Folder Group 2 This column displays the path of the parent folder of the folder displayed in Folder Group 1.
Due The due date of the client file is indicated in this column.
Progress This column displays the percentage complete of the work being done on the client file.
Status

This column indicates the signed in/out status of the engagement file.

  • N - None (not signed or checked out)
  • M - Master
  • C - Central copy
  • S - Signed out master copy
  • O - Checked out copy
  • E - Error
Last Accessed When the client file is accessed and then closed, the date and time the client file was closed is shown in this column.
Last Accessed By The full name of the user that last accessed the client file is displayed.
Created This column displays the date and time the client file was created. This information may not be shown for older files.
Created By The full name of the user, based on security settings, that created the file is displayed. This information may not be shown for older files.
Location This column displays the full path where the file is located.
Lockdown Status The lockdown status of the file can be: Not Locked Down, Pending, or Locked Down.
Lockdown Jurisdiction This column shows the jurisdiction selected in the Lockdown wizard.
Lockdown Class This column shows the type of company, public or non public, selected in the Lockdown wizard.
Lockdown Date This column shows the second of the two date values entered in the Lockdown wizard. Note that the name of this date field in the Lockdown wizard may change, depending on which jurisdiction you select.
Document Completion Date This column shows the first of the two date values entered in the Lockdown wizard. Note that the name of this date field in the Lockdown wizard may change, depending on which jurisdiction you select.
Cleaned Up 

A check mark in the check box indicates that the file has been cleaned up (formerly called archived) in Working Papers. If the check box is cleared, then the file has not been cleaned up.

Year End Close When a year end close has been performed in Working Papers, this check box is selected. If the check box is cleared, then the year end close has not been performed.
Column Description
[SmartSync] The first column marked only by the SmartSync icon indicates the file is part of a SmartSync hierarchy (if checkbox is selected).
Local Child Path The path of a local child copy (only applies for Top Level Parent or sync copies with child copies).
