Miscellaneous Functions

Function	Description
ASSIGNEDTO	Determines whether the specified user is assigned to the current document.
BROWSTAT	Indicates whether a specified database browse is currently being displayed.
CANSIGN	Determines whether the specified role is able to sign off the document.
CELLCALC	Returns the calculation of the cell.
CELLCOL	Returns the table column number starting at 1 for A of the current cell.
CELLLABEL	Returns the cell label of the cell.
CELLNO	Inserts a cell number as a string into the current cell.
CELLROW	Returns the table row numbers staring at 1 of the current cell.
CELLSTR	Returns the formatted text contents of the cell.
CELLTABLE	Returns the table identifier of the cell.
COMPLETION	Returns the completion status of the current document.
COMPLTBY	Determines whether the current document meets specified sign off criteria.
CUSTPROP	Returns the custom property specified by "name".
CUSTPROPAT	Returns the custom property of an object specified by an "item id" and "property name".
CUSTPROPR	Returns a range of custom properties.
CVDATA	Returns the data associated with the provided ID from the CV Database.
CVDATAC	Returns the data associated with the provided ID from the System Database set up under Document \| Settings \| System Databases.
CVDATAL	Performs the same function as CVDATA, but takes advantage of the longer character limits for Group, Form, and Identifier introduced in version 2009.00.
CVDATALNG	Returns the data associated with the provided "Group", "Form" and/or "ID" from a specified system database.
CVDATAQRY	Performs multiple queries until it returns a non null string data associated with the provided "Group", "Form1", "ID" .. "Group", "FormN", "ID" from a specified system database.
CVDOCPOS	Returns information about the cursor position in the document.
CVFORM	Returns the current form of the default CV database group associated with the document.
CVGROUP	Returns the default CV database group associated with the document.
CVINFO	With VMERGE as the parameter, returns a Yes or No as to whether the Visual Merge Pane is currently open.
CVMENUST	Used exclusively within the State Calculation field of a Button Cell.
DOCENTSCP	Determines whether the current document's entity assignment matches a specified entity.
DOCID	Inserts the document identifier of the active CaseView document.
DOCMODE	Returns an integer that corresponds to the current document mode.
EVAL	Evaluates the value of an expression passed to it.
GETHIDE	Returns 1 or 2 as the Show Skipped Text button is selected and deselected.
HASTAG	Determines whether a specified object has a specified tag.
INITIALS	Returns the short name as specified in the Staff Setup dialog.
INPBLANK	Returns whether the specified paragraph is blank.
INPBLANKRC	Returns whether the specified paragraph in a table is blank.
ISADMIN	Returns whether the user is an admin.
ISCONS	Indicates whether the active client file is consolidated or not.
ISINGROUP	Indicates whether a user is a member of a specified group.
ISLOCKED	Indicates whether a file has been locked down and unlocked.
ISPLHOLDER	Determines whether the specified document is a placeholder document.
ISSUECOUNT	Returns the number of issues assigned to the current document.
ITEMPROP	Checks a memo field for a given property and returns the associated value.
KLIEXIST	When used in a Knowledge Library Link section inserted from a Knowledge Library Index, checks to see if the Knowledge Library Index associated with the Knowledge Library entry can be found.
KLIPROP	When used in a Knowledge Library Link section inserted from a Knowledge Library Index, returns information currently in the Knowledge Library Index relating to the selected Knowledge Library entry.
KLLPROP	When used in a Knowledge Library Link section inserted from a Knowledge Library Index, returns information on the selected Knowledge Library entry.
LEVEL	Returns the security level set for the current user.
LOOKUP	Allows the user to create a lookup cell that returns the contents of the referenced cell.
MKPATH	The MKPATH function converts a string parameter path name to an expended path string by replacing each \ with a \\.
NUMROLES	Returns the number of roles contained in a document.
NUMSIGNED	Returns a number of roles a document has signed.
RDYREVIEW	Returns true if the specified document is ready for review.
REPENT	Returns the entity abbreviation for the specified raw database entity code.
ROLECOMPLT	Determines whether a specified role is completed.
ROLEINDEX	Returns the index of the specified role label on a specific document.
ROLELABEL	Returns the role label for the specified role number and document.
SCRNX	Returns the width in pixels of the current display.
SCRNY	Returns the height in pixels of the current display.
SIGNOFF	Returns the signoff initials for the specified role and document.
SIGNOFFCHK	Determines if there are any illegal role sign offs on the current document.
SIGNOFFCVR	Determines if there are any sign offs making the document read only.
SIGNOFFDTE	Returns the signoff date of the specified role and document.
SIGNOFFNME	Displays the name of the user who signed off the specified role and document.
WHOAMI	Returns the name of the user currently logged in.
