Adjusting Column Width
- Position the insertion point on the page for which you are employing two-column printing.

On the File tab, click Print, and then click Page Setup.
- Under Scope, select the Current Page option.
- Under 2 Column Printing, select the Enable 2 Columns check box.
- Under Margins, type or select a new page width in the Left and Right boxes.

Click OK.
The columns expand or decrease accordingly.
Notes
- You can use paragraph indents to change the column width while maintaining the same amount of white space around the page. For more information, see Adjusting Paragraph Alignment.
