Palladium Accounting Fields

Field	Description
Server	The name of the SQL Server or MSDE instance used by the application. When entering the instance, also indicate the computer name. For example, if the computer name is 'maryscomputer' and the instance name is 'sqlexpress', enter 'maryscomputer\sqlexpress'.
User	The user ID provided to you.
Password	The password for the user ID specified.
Select Client File (*.palbk)	The client file.
Client name	Populated automatically with the client name specified from the client file.
Accounting year	Generated with the accounting year specified in the client file.
Use department codes	Uses the departments or sub-account codes of the Palladium file. Working Papers can import up to a 6-digit department or sub-account code.
Period Balances	Imports the period balances when importing the Trial Balance. Refer to Importing period balances for more information.
Budget Data	Imports the budget data.
Prior Year Data	This imports prior year balances into Working Papers. Note: Any existing prior year data will be overwritten. To leave existing prior year balances untouched, leave the check box empty.
