Use department/branch to build entity on

If applicable, select Use department/branch to build entity onto select whether to build the entity based on the department or the branch. If the box is unchecked, Working Papers puts each account into the top entity with the full account name as account>dep<branch.

• If Department is checked, the account 1000>001<HOLM imports as account 1000<HOLM under the entity department 001. In building the entity by department, Working Papers assigns department 000 as the top. If no department is found in the account number, Working Papers assigns CON as the default department name and to the top entity.
• If Branch is checked, the same account imports as 1000>001 under the entity HOLM. In building the entity by branch, Working Papers assigns branch NoBr as the top. If no branch is found in the account number, Working Papers assigns CONS as the default branch name and to the top entity.
