Configuring Tally Accounting 9
For Tally Accounting files to be imported into Working Papers, the Tally Accounting program must be configured properly so Working Papers can access the data.
Note: The proper configuration settings may already be in place on your machine, but be sure to check before importing into Working Papers.
Procedure
- Open Tally Accounting.
- From the main menu, select Advanced Configuration.
- In the Configuration dialog, do the following:
- Confirm that Tally is acting as the Server or Both
- Ensure that Enable ODBC Server as is set to Yes
- Confirm the Port (default is 9000)
