Importing Knowledge Library Entries into the Index

  1. In the Knowledge Library Index, on the File menu, select Import Knowledge Library Entries or click images\import_kli_button_shg.gif.
  2. Confirm the location of the Knowledge Library files. Click OK.

    The program scans the directory for CaseView documents containing Knowledge Library entries.

    Note: If any files scanned were created in previous versions of CaseView, CaseView prompts whether to convert the files to the current version. This process may take several minutes.

  3. When the scan is completed, the Import Knowledge Libraries dialog opens allows for the selection of entries that should be added to the Knowledge Library Index. To import all entries, click OK.
  4. The Knowledge Library Index displays with the newly imported content listed.
