Sync Log

• Database Identifier - a two letter code to identify where the change has occurred. To see a list of file databases and their codes, on the Tools tab, click Repair File | Advanced.
• File Change Identifier - the FILE code to denote that a file was changed.
• Messages - program messages for internal use. Background is cyan.
• Debug Message - ID 0024.

Clicking the link applies a filter to the sync log to display only that message type.

• Database GUID - the unique identifier for the modified database line. The specific field(s) changed during the operation is listed.
• File GUID - the unique identifier for which file has been modified. The name of the cache file and a link to it is displayed.
• Debug ID - the unique identifier for this debug log entry.

Displays log entries adjacent to the specified entry. The sync log displays all entries beginning with the four preceding entries to the current entry.

For debug entries, information related to the Working Papers build, release, and type of sync event performed is displayed.

Indicates the order in which operations have been performed on the sync copy. This number is used internally by SmartSync.

The Session Identified and Sequence Number form the unique identifier for each operation.

Unique identifier associated to operations in a specific sync copy.

Example:

Users open a sync copy or the parent copy and make changes. This code displays the copy where the changes were made.

The Session Identified and Sequence Number form the unique identifier for each operation.

The User Index identifies the user that initiated each operation.

Operations with user FFFFFFFF are generated by Working Papers and are for internal use.

The Date and Time for each operation are listed in UTC with the format YYYY MM DD hh:mm:ss.
