Importing from MAS 90 for Windows
Working Papers can import the following from MAS 90 for Windows:
- Account data (Current trial balance)
- General ledger details
- Prior Year data
- Budget data
When importing into Working Papers, a trial balance data file must be specified. The general ledger detail, prior year data, and budget data files are optional files that can be imported together or in any combination with the trial balance data file. If you have a version of MAS 90 that is not supported by Working Papers, use the following techniques to export the MAS 90 data into a Lotus file format and then convert the export file into an ASCII text file.
Requirements
- Create a new SOA folder and copy the SY0CTL.SOA file into it (refer to MAS 90 Windows and the SY0CTL.SOA folder).
-
Export the Trial Balance plus any other item that you would like to import (General Ledger Detail, Prior Year Data or Budget data).
Note: If you are importing from version 4.0/4.2, see Exporting data from MAS 90 v4.0/4.2.
For MAS 90 v4.4 +, the required file is:
File | Containing... |
---|---|
GL_FiscalYearDetail.m4t | Period date sequence |
The file should be located under GL folder of MAS 90.
