Date Settings

When importing files into Working Papers, it is important to specify the date formats used to avoid problems and inconsistencies. Once the date settings are set, Working Papers knows what to expect in the ASCII or Excel file being imported. The more information Working Papers has available, the more likely the import will be handled smoothly.

To specify date settings in the ASCII text file or Excel file you are importing, set the date in the Field Details screen by defining the column as Date. The options for the date format will appear in the bottom of the dialog.
