Cleanup
The Cleanup feature in Working Papers allows you to simply and efficiently remove documents, issues, history, milestones, and annotations from a client file. A Cleanup is usually performed before a Lockdown and a Year End Close.

Use the Cleanup to ensure that sensitive information within your client file is removed or to help maintain and organize your client file. The Engagement Cleanup removes any unwanted documents, issues, history, milestones, and annotations from your Working Papers client file.

The Engagement Cleanup Wizard Welcome
The Welcome to the Engagement Cleanup Wizard screen displays when you select Engagement | Clean Up. On this screen, you have the option to retain history and milestones.

The Engagement Cleanup Wizard screen contains a summary of the items that will be deleted from your client file.

For optimal performance in Working Papers, be conscious of the size of your client file, especially the history database file. You should proceed to delete history and milestone events to reduce the size of the file and to reduce the amount of disk space used.

You can filter the documents on the Document Manager to view items to be retained or deleted on Cleanup.

The Cleanup warning displays after you click Finish in the Engagement Cleanup Wizard dialog. The warning indicates that the specified deletions are permanent once the clean up is processed.
