Firm Risks, Controls, and Risk Identification

Identifying risks and applying appropriate controls are an essential part of any audit. Caseware provides various tools for identifying and managing risk that can be customized by the firm author.

As firm author, common controls can be predefined in the master template to be used and modified by the engagement team in each client file. Controls can be added from any Audit specific document, including work programs and checklists. Each control can also be associated to identified risks in determining whether risks have been mitigated or prevented.

Risk Identification

As part of the audit process, risks must be identified for your client engagements and your audit designed to address these risks.

This online help system applies to all Caseware Audit, Review and Compilation products. Not all features are available in all products.
