Saving a document as an Excel file

  1. While on the Document Manager, place the cursor on a document to be saved as an Excel File.

You can select multiple documents by using the SHIFT key to select documents in sequence or by using the CTRL key to select non-sequential documents.

  2. On the Document menu, select Save as Excel File.
  3. Select a path for the file and give the file a name. Click Save.

Time saves the file as an Excel spreadsheet.

When saving multiple documents as Excel files, select or enter the path of a local folder and specify the Excel format. Each document is saved as an excel file and labeled according to its document number.

  • Only automatic documents can be saved in the Excel format.
  • Excel formats include .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm and .xlsb extensions.
