Spelling command

Checks the spelling in the active document.

Word Not Found

Displays a word not found in the main dictionary or the open custom dictionary.

Change To

Type or select a word from the Suggestions list to replace the word not found in the open dictionaries.

To delete the word from the document, delete the text in the Change To box and then click the Replace button.

Suggestions

Lists suggested replacement words from the main dictionary and open custom dictionary when you choose the Suggest button or if you have selected the Automatically Suggest box in the Spell Check Options dialog box.

Ignore

Does not correct the spelling of the word in the Word Not Found box. The program will continue to display the word during the spelling check.

Ignore All

Leaves the word in the Word Not Found box unchanged during all spelling checks in the current session.

Replace

Changes the word in the Word Not Found box to the word in the Change To box.

Replace All

Changes the word in the Word Not Found box to the word in the Change To box for all instances in the document.

Add Word

Adds the word in the Word Not Found box to the custom dictionary.

Suggest

If you clear the Automatically Suggest box in the Spell Check Options dialog box, choosing the Suggest button displays a list of proposed suggestions for the word in the Suggestions box. To modify spelling options, click the Options button.

Options

Specifies the conditions to be used uses to check spelling.

Stop Spell Check

Closes the Spell Check dialog box, but does not reverse any changes you have made.
