The folder "Partner DW's Documents" gives an example of a grouping of documents one might want to set up.

The documents used give information this partner finds most valuable, in the order preferred. Such a folder may be set up easily.

Document Name Description
Time Entries Summary - staff Lists a summary of the total time (in currency) for each employee with breakdowns of billable and non-billable time. Work codes, clients, rates, and GL accounts are not included. This document is sorted in staff order.
Expense Entries Summary - staff Lists a summary of the total expenses (in currency) for each employee with breakdowns of billable and non-billable expenses. Work codes, clients, rates, and GL accounts are not included. This document is sorted in staff order.
Work in process summary by partner totals Provides work in process totals entered as at the end of the period by partner
Trial Balance Summary partner totals Provides total outstanding balance for the period, ordered by partner.
WIP and A/R summary partner totals Provides total work in process and accounts receivable balances for the period by partner
Time analysis by staff - current and ytd Provides a detailed listing of all billable and non-billable time entries and total cost and profit per staff for both the current period and the year-to-date.
Expense analysis by staff - current and ytd Provides a detailed listing of all billable and non-billable expense entries and total cost and profit per staff for both the current period and the year-to-date.
Billing Analysis by client summary - name Provides a summary listing of the total billed time and expenses for each client for the period specified, including the cost, profit, total write-up/down, and effective rate for the period, ordered by client name. Staff numbers and work codes are not included in this report.
Invoice Analysis by client summary - name Provides a summary listing of total amount of invoices for clients for the period, ordered by client name.
WIP Analysis by client summary - name Provides a summarized listing of all work in process, and the applicable write-up/down amounts for the period specified, ordered by client name, number, partner, manager, or client group.
Budget Analysis by client summary amount - name Provides a summarized listing of budgeted time and expenses for each client. The report is ordered by client name.
