Edit Dialog
Use the Edit dialog to change an existing DDE-based Connector link.
The Edit dialog is only applicable for DDE-based linkages. Opening this dialog with a UDF-based link selected will result in the message: The selection must contain a formula field to use this command.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Old Formula | The syntax for the existing link. |
| New Formula | The syntax for the new Connector link. Click anywhere in the line to manually edit the existing formula. |
| New Formula Result | The resulting value of the New Formula. |
| Recalculate | The value after recalculation. Use this button to test changes when manually changing or updating a formula. The change is not applied to the document until the OK button is clicked. |
