Roles in CaseWare® Working Papers are used for electronic sign off of documents in a client file. Roles can assist you when there are several collaborators in the client file and engagement progression is dependent on role sign offs.

  • Set the number of roles, role sets, and other options on the Tools | Options dialog.

  • You can define sign off requirements for roles in a role set. When you define a requirement, you are specifying that one role cannot be signed off before another.
