To assign staff to protection groups

  1. On the Tools menu, click Protection and then Protection Setup.
  2. Under Staff Members, select the user (s) you want to assign to a protection group.
  3. In the Available Groups box, select the protection group to which you want to assign a user.
  4. Click images\rightarrow_assign_shg.gif to assign the user (s) to the protection group.
  5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to assign all staff who require access to the file.

Note: To access a protected file, each user must be a member of a protection group that belongs to the file.
