To enforce password protection

Only those possessing the Supervisor password can enable the protection system.

  1. On the Tools menu, click Protection and then Turn Protection On.
  2. Enter the supervisor user name and password.
  3. Click Yes to enable protection for the file.

Notes

  • Each time you open a password-protected file, you must supply the correct User ID and Password in order to access the file.
  • You should ensure that users and protection groups are present in the file before implementing password protection.
