Removing the default administrator, sup

When first installed, Time contains one administrator "sup" with the password "sup". This user serves as a starting point for protection setup. Using the "sup" administrator, new administrators may be added. Upon adding other administrators, the "sup" administrator may then be removed, if required. At a minimum, the default password for "sup" should be changed for security reasons.

The user "sup" can be deleted only if there is at least one other administrator level user set up in the file.

  1. Log in to a user account with administrator permissions.

  2. From the Tools menu, select Protection | Protection Setup.

  3. In the Users and Groups dialog, search the staff members list for SUP.

  4. Highlight the SUP user and click Delete.
