Projects and subprojects in the Billings from WIP dialog

Once projects have been activated in the Company Profile, you are able to sort and bill by a specific project and/or subproject.

Invoices can be created to include selected or all project or subproject related time and expenses. The invoice date is set by default to that used on the previous invoice but may be changed as applicable. The first invoice uses the month-end date by default. Project and subproject information for each transaction will be shown automatically.

In addition, when using the Billings from WIP dialog, time and expense transactions for the client can be filtered by project and subproject. Buttons have been added to the dialog to access the Project and Subproject dialogs.

  1. From the Process menu, select Billings/Invoices | Billings from WIP.
  2. Enter the client number.
  3. By default the project and subproject boxes are set to ALL so that all work in process transactions are displayed regardless of the project and subproject that was assigned.
  4. To view and bill work in process transactions for a specific project and subproject, select the project and subproject from the popup lists.
  5. Process the remaining part of the invoice as required.
