Save As PDF Dialog

The location where the PDF file(s) are stored:

• Add to client file and Document Manager - includes the PDF files(s) in the client file and the Document Manager.
• Directory Name - type or Browse to the location where you are saving the PDF files(s).

Enables the following actions in the PDF file(s):

• Merge PDF files - merges all the selected documents into one PDF file. This option is only available if more than one document is selected.
• Skip annotations and commentary text - excludes annotations and commentary text from the generated PDF file.

• Export as PDF/A - exports Working Papers and CaseView files to the standard file format for archiving, PDF/A.

  Note: Exporting to the PDF/A format is not supported if merging PDF files.

• Include Document Number in Bookmarks - includes the document number in the bookmarks. This option is only available if more than one document is selected.
• Include tickmark legend - creates a legend for each type of tickmark applied to the document(s).

Applies security to the PDF file(s) and enables the following:

• Owner password - adds a password for the owner of the PDF file(s). Re-enter and confirm the password.
• User password - adds a password that other users must enter in order to view the PDF file(s). It is recommended that this not be the same password as the Owner password.
• Enable printing - allows users to print the PDF document(s).
• Enable document modification - allows users to modify the PDF document(s).
• Enable copying text and graphics - allows users to copy text and/or graphics from the PDF document(s).
• Enable modifying notes - allows users to modify notes in the PDF document(s).
