Importing from Auditvision and ProSystem fx Trial Balance/Audit
Working Papers can import the trial balance, adjusted entries, reclassifying entries, tax journals, and the general ledger details from Auditvision and ProSystem fx Trial Balance/Audit. For more about the data converted and not currently converted, refer to the conversion summary table for Auditvision and ProSystem fx imports.
Requirements
- NTRPRISE.DBD in the same directory as the Auditvision or ProSystem fx data files
Prerequisites
- If Protection is activated, the File permission "Import" is required to perform this operation.
Procedure

Open the client file in which you want to import.

From the Engagement tab, select Import | Working Paper Software.

In the Convert From field, select Auditvision or ProSystem fx Trial Balance/Audit and in the Version field, select the version that you want to import.
Note: For version 2007.A00, you can only import yearly files. Click here to see all Working Paper Software supported versions.

In the Convert Path field, type the exact path where the file you want to import resides or use Browse to locate the file manually.

To import client information, click Import Client Information. This information will be displayed in the Engagement Properties dialog.
- In the Select a current year field, specify the year of data to convert.
- 0 - Working Papers will convert the current year's data.
- n - Working Papers will convert the previous year's data.
You cannot import multiple years’ data all at once. Follow the procedure for importing multiple years of data into Working Papers to create a Working Papers file with current and prior year balances.

To import prior year balances into Working Papers, select the Prior Year Data check box. If selected, any existing prior year data will be overwritten. If left blank, prior year data will not be imported.
- Click OK to begin importing.
Results
The information from the Auditvision files will be imported into the Working Papers client file.
