Printing a batch of documents by client

To print a group of automatic and CaseView documents for a particular client, use the Client Batch Email/Print. During a batch print, Time prints automatic documents from the default printer specified for Time and prints all CaseView documents from the default or the individual printer if one is specified for each CaseView document.

  • Go through the client list depending on the order selected in the Client Selection window.
  • Substitute the client name or number in the reference from the applicable cell in the document properties.
  • Print documents for each client in the order specified by the user.
  1. On the File menu, click Client Batch Email/Print.
  2. Select the applicable clients by checking the boxes (images\checkmar_shg.gif) beside their names. Use the Select All button to add all of the clients to the list quickly. Clients with blank check boxes (images\clear_shg.gif) are not included in the batch.
  3. If you are not printing labels, make sure the Label box is empty. To clear the box, select the contents and click the delete button. If you are printing labels, refer to the topic To print a batch of client labels.
  4. Select the print order.
  5. Set applicable filters for aging, balances, and dates. Any other From/To filter must be set in the individual document's properties.
  6. The batch print dialog uses the Microsoft Explorer interface. Open and close folders to locate specific documents to print. For each document that you want to print, select the check box (R) to the left of its name. Blank check boxes (£) are excluded from the batch print.

Note: See Selecting records for tips about selecting multiple documents.

  7. Click the Printer Setup button to set properties for the printer.
  8. Click Process. A Process selection dialog will appear to select the type of output.
  9. In the Print dialog, specify the Number of copies and click OK.
  • If your document fails to print, check the Label box and delete any selection made there. While a "label" is selected, documents chosen in the print window below get ignored and the label gets batch printed.
