Name Icon Description
Back and forward arrows

Moves back, one page at a time, to previous pages visited and forward again, one page at a time, to original page.
Stop

Aborts a page's download. Useful if the page is taking too long to load, or if the user changes their mind before the download is complete.
Refresh

Reloads the screen, updating it for any changes. On the Time Document Manager, refresh updates for changes including new documents added by other users in network file.
Home

Returns the user to the home page as set as the default in the user's copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Browser

Each area of the program has its own address. Entering this address into the browser toolbar moves the user to that part of the program instantly. For example, typing CT:manager moves the user to the Document Manager. To see a more complete listing of the jumpcodes got to View | Go to | Document/Jumpcode.

Any document can be opened by typing CT: followed by the document number. This also works for any helper application document (Excel or Word, for example) as long as it is attached to the Document Manager. See Creating a document link for more details.

In addition, if the user is connected to the internet, typing a URL in the browser bar opens the Website inside the Time window.

Note: Certain characters in the URL (? / \ :) are considered restricted characters. Time handles these restricted characters by replacing then with a ! followed by the ASCII code for the character in the browser bar. Document addresses containing these characters cannot be typed directly into the address bar, but will need to be dragged and dropped there instead. The character * cannot be handled by the address bar. This restraint applies to documents with these characters in their document identifiers as well.

The browser toolbar keeps a history of recently visited documents, areas and sites, and makes it available in a drop-down list.

Workflow Layout

The right-most button on the Browser toolbar, turns the Work Flow layout on (switch points up and is green as above) and off (switch points down and is red).
