P2P Troubleshooting - Deleting or Editing Cached Remote User Accounts

The peer parent file host manages the local user accounts and access to the parent workstation.

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Click User Accounts.
  3. On the Users tab, click the desired user.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Click Manage Passwords.
  6. Select the desired credential.
  7. Click Properties.
  8. Update the desired items.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Close.
  1. Open Control Panel | User Accounts | Credential Manager.
  2. In the left pane, click Manage your credentials.
  3. Click the vault that contains the credential that you want to manage.
  4. Select the desired credential.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Update the desired items.
  7. Click Save.

The Local User Account has been updated.
