Replacing the Cloud or Server Copy
Replace the Cloud or SmartSync Server copy of a file with your local copy.
Procedure
- Ensure the sync copy is online and fully synchronized.
- On the Cloud or SmartSync tab, click Replace Server Copy.
Results
The top-level parent on Cloud or the SmartSync Server is replaced with a compressed copy of your local file.
Notes

An interruption in the upload process displays a Could not Replace Server Copy error with the following solutions:
- Run the upload again by clicking the pop-up balloon.
- Run the upload again by closing the pop-up balloon and, on the Cloud or SmartSync tab, click Replace Server Copy.

Working Papers attempts the upload the next time the sync copy is open if the upload is not successful.

A warning displays if the top-level parent contains more up-to-date sync information than the local sync copy.
