Setting up Section Permissions

  1. Drag the pointer to select the area to which you want to apply permissions.
  2. On the Home tab, click Section.

  3. Under Available Sections, select the section you want to modify and click Modify.

  4. Click the Permissions tab.

  1. Select an operation and select the setting for the operation.

    Operation not restricted

    A check mark is placed beside any operation that has no restrictions.

    Minimum level required

    The level corresponds to the security level established in Working Papers or Time. In order to modify cell calculations, users must be assigned to a user group in Working Papers or Time with a CaseView access level of 4 or higher.

    Operation prohibited

    A crossed-out circle is placed next to any operation is completely restricted.

    Use document settings

    A document icon is placed next to any operation using the document permissions set up on the Document | Settings | Document Security tab.

  2. Click OK.

Section permissions are saved when you save the document.
