Saving a New Document

  1. While in the unsaved document, on the File tab, click Save. Existing CaseView documents for the client are listed.

    Note: If no client file is currently open in Working Papers or Time, a Save File As dialog pops up to allow you to select a location for your file. By default, CaseView will save the document in your Windows default file location.

  2. In the Identifier box, enter a unique document identifier of up to 8 characters.
  3. In the Description box, enter the description of the document.
  4. Click OK.

  • The document identifier and the document description are used when the document is automatically added to the top of the Working Papers or Time Document Manager.
  • Working Papers/Time automatically assigns a unique document number to the document.
