ProSystem fx Engagement Imports

More Info >>

  • Since ProSystem fx Engagement databases use the SQL data engine, ProSystem fx requires its own instance of the SQL Server.

  • There are specific steps that you need to perform before using the ProSystem fx Engagement Import Wizard. This guide highlights these steps.

  • The ProSystem fx Engagement Import Wizard facilitates imports of ProSystem fx Engagement Binders into Working Papers.

  • Like ProSystem fx Engagement, Connector can link information and data in Microsoft Word and Excel using custom functions. However, this does not mean that the ProSystem fx Engagement documents imported into a Working Papers file must be re-linked.

  • Use the ProSystem fx Engagement Import Wizard to import client files from ProSystem fx Engagement into Working Papers. The wizard is applicable to version 6.1 (including versions 6.1 / 6.5 / 6.8 / 6.9 / 6.11 / 7.0 / 7.1 / 7.2 / 7.5 / 2017.2).

  • If an Engagement Binder is a consolidated Binder, it may contain multiple Trial Balance data sets. Working Papers can import one Trial Balance data set at a time, including one top level Trial Balance and all of its sub Trial balances.

  • More than one non-consolidated Binder can be imported into a single consolidated Working Papers client file. Prior to importing, ensure that a new Entity is created within Working Papers for every Binder that will be imported.

  • Working Papers makes use of Mapping functionality that enables the use of a master chart of accounts.
