Accounting data is imported into the client file.

  • Before the import, the dates in the files are checked by Working Papers to see which period date sequence aligns with the file data (yearly, monthly, quarterly). If a period date sequence does not apply to the data, the balances will import into Random Periods.
  • If Working Papers detects that legacy data exists in the file under a Random bucket with twelve periods, it will give you the option to convert this data to monthly upon import. If the client file already contains data in monthly buckets, you will be asked if you would like to delete the random bucket amounts instead.
