What do you see on the Status Panel?

When logged in with a supervisor account, the total firm statistics are displayed.

This section displays a summary of the firm’s productivity for the current period and year-to-date balances.

For more detailed information, the user can drill down from the Productivity heading to the Time Analysis - Productivity report.

This section gives an overview of the firm’s performance by showing the receivables and work in process (WIP) balances for the current period and year-to-date.

For more detailed information, the user can drill down

  • from the trial balance line to the Trial balance - Total amount report;
  • from the Work in Process line to the WIP summary - Total amount report;
  • from the billings line to the Billing summary - Firm summary report.

This section shows the status of projects being processed in the firm. It shows how many projects are completed, how many are due but not completed, and how many are incomplete.

For more detailed information, the user can drill down from the Firm Projects subheading to the Projects, Lists report.

This sections shows an overview of the number of staff in the firm and the number of staff who have incomplete time.

This section is available only when a staff member with administrative rights logs in to the file.

For more detailed information, the user can drill down from the line No. of staff incomplete time to the Time Journal - Exception report.

This section shows the firm's Year End date and the Current Period’s end date.

When logged in with any account besides the supervisor account, the information is filtered to focus on the user logged in. In addition to the above, the following sections, are visible:

This section shows the total time entries for the staff members who are logged into the file, broken down by billable and non-billable hours and amounts.

This section shows the total expense entries for the staff members who are logged into the file, broken down by billable and non-billable amounts.

When logged in with a non-administrator account, all sections except the Progress section are visible. The information displayed is filtered to focus on the user logged in.
