The following is a step by step guide to accomplishing a month's worth of work. If you are new to Time, follow the order of the topics below.

  1. Enter time and expenses.
  2. Run WIP reports.
  3. Generate invoices.
  4. Process cash receipts and credit notes.
  5. Process interest charges.
  6. Issue statements.
  7. Run diagnostics.
  8. If necessary, run file maintenance.
  9. Close the month.
