What's New - Time 2016

The following describes the features, enhancements, and fixes for CaseWare® Time 2016 (click Help | About to find your version number).

Work Codes

  • You can now change the status of work codes to Inactive.

Client

  • You can now make a client with zero amount transactions inactive.

Equation Editor

  • Resolved an issue related to filtering "alternate codes" in some reports.

  • Resolved an issue related to filtering on "dates".

Reports

  • Time Analysis Staff - Year to Date detail: "Personal Allocation" line has now been added to correct write up/down balances.

SQL Servers

  • Added compatibility with Microsoft SQL 2016 and 2016 Express.

Recurring Invoices

  • Resolved an issue related to recurring invoice negative amount.

Protection

  • Removed the option to copy protection rights from one Time file to another.

Cloud Integration

  • Added Cloud button for direct navigation to Cloud firm.

  • Status of work codes can now be defined and merged to Cloud.

  • Clients defined as "Individuals" in Cloud will be merged to Time with their first name, last name.

  • New Diagnostics is available to find and repair merge errors.
