The Time Exception report
The Time exception report is a special time journal that is used to list names of staff on days when their time entries fail to amount to a specified minimum, called the threshold.
The threshold for the report can be one of three amounts.
- Zero
- The employee's standard daily hours as entered in his staff record.
- A specified number of hours
If a staff member's hours entered are zero or fall below the threshold, his name appears on the report along with the date and the hours entered for that day.
The Standard hours report has three columns showing the employee's standard hours, the actual hours worked on each day and the difference between the two under "Missing hours".
