Issue types

You can create custom issue types in Time. Each issue must have a unique identifier and type description. You can add, edit, delete or revert to default issue types from the Issue Types dialog. Use this dialog to manage all your issue types.

Click this button to add an issue type. The Add Type dialog appears. You must supply both a unique identifier (ID) and a type description. The ID is composed of any two alphanumeric characters.

Click this button to edit a selected issue type. The Edit Type dialog appears when editing issue types. Modify the identifier or type description.

Click this button to delete a selected issue type. Confirm this action when prompted.

When you delete an issue type all existing issues that are associated with the deleted type are set to type 'none'.

Click this button to revert issue types to default types.

If reverting to default types results in deleted issue types, then all existing issues that are associated with the deleted type are set to type 'none'.
