Scheduling

The scheduling dialog displays a calendar view of issues assigned to staff in your firm. You can use this dialog to manage, create and edit issues. Access this dialog from the menu Setup | Scheduling, or from the client project area under the issues tab ().

Select the radio button for 'View my schedule' to see the list of issues assigned to yourself or select 'View Project schedules' to see the list of issues for a project. Add additional filters to these default views as necessary.

You can filter your scheduler view based on Staff, Client, Project No. and SubProj No.. Use the drop-down list to select from the available options.

Note: If you are accessing this dialog from the client project area, the Scheduler displays issues in the context of the Client, Project No. and SubProj No. from the client project area (as applicable). You can filter this view further based on Staff members.

You can change your view of the calendar to display issues for staff over the period of a week or a month. Select the applicable view and specify the applicable period by clicking the arrow buttons (<, >).

Work Week or Full Week

When you select the Week view you can choose to view only days in the work week (Monday to Friday) or the full week (Sunday to Saturday).

To specify a new issue click the New button. A dialog box appears for you to enter a new issue.

Notes

  • A right-click menu is available on the calendar view to create, edit or delete an issue. Select an option to open the issues dialog box to create or modify an issue.
  • Protection may limit your access to view issues for other staff. Your calendar view may include only yourself, a subset of staff members in your firm, or all staff members in your firm.
