User Profile -- Client Filtering

Filter to limit the number documents to work on, according to the clients whose information the documents contain.

  1. Click the "Select" pop-up list to choose the category by which to filter.
    SelectTo see
    GroupDocuments pertaining to the client group(s) selected in the filter range.
    ManagerDocuments for clients with the selected manager(s) assigned to their accounts.
    Short NameDocuments pertaining to the short client name(s) selected in the filter range.
    NameDocuments pertaining to the client name(s) selected in the filter range.
    NumberDocuments pertaining to the client number(s) selected in the filter range.
    Partner Documents for clients with the selected partner(s) assigned to their accounts.
    NoneDocuments for all clients.
  2. Set the data filter for the document.
    To selectClick
    One clientSingle or Range Selection and set the range from and to the same client. OR Multiple and check the box beside the one client to include.
    A range of clientsSingle or Range Selection and set the range.
    Several clients, not necessarily in consecutive orderMultiple and check the boxes beside the clients to include.

Data for clients not selected will not be displayed in documents until the filter is changed.

Note: The filter range available depends upon the rights set in the Protection Setup. For example, if your security access is to "View Own Clients" then the range populated with only your clients. All other clients are omitted from access.
