Create a Time Analysis Report at Cost Rate

For tax purposes, you can create a Time Analysis report at Cost Rate to track the value of your work in progress (WIP). This report assumes you have set up cost rates for each of your staff. You can find and modify the cost rate on a staff member’s profile on the Rates tab.

To create a Time Analysis report at Cost Rate:

  1. On the ribbon, click Document | New.
  2. In the New Document dialog, select Automatic Document and click OK.
  3. In the Automatic Document Properties dialog, click the General tab.
  4. In the Document Type list, select Time Analysis. The document’s number and name populate automatically. You can modify these settings if required.
  5. In the Format list, select Cost Rate.
  6. In the Settings group, deselect User Profile. Click OK.

The report is added to the Document Manager. Open the report to view a list of staff and their WIP hours and rates. When you add new WIP hours, they will automatically add to this report.
