Enabling other users to access password protection
If you want file protection to be performed at the staff level by a designated user of the file, you can give higher access rights to a specific member of the task. This saves having to dispense the supervisor password to staff members. A protection group can theoretically have access to all aspects of the software including file protection. As long as only one user has the supervisor password, the supervisor can easily rectify any errors that occur. If multiple users have access to the supervisor password, it becomes very easy to lock the supervisor out of the program by changing the password.
If you want only one user to have access to password protection for the file, you can create a new protection group to which only that user is assigned.
Only an administrator, regardless of rights, can change an administrator's staff properties.
