Using the Analysis Documents

Time comes equipped with six types of analysis documents to help you perform the month-end firm analysis prior to moving to the next period.

They are:

Document Type Description

Time Analysis

Time analysis documents are available at a staff and a firm level. It details the percentage of time spent on billable and non-billable time, and the effective rate for the staff member or firm. Time analysis documents are not broken down by client.

Expense Analysis

Expense analysis documents are available at a staff and a firm level. It details the percentage of billable and non-billable expenses, and the effective rate for the staff member or firm. Expense analysis documents are not broken down by client.

Billing Analysis

Billing analysis documents detail the total billed time, including the write-up/down, effective rate, cost, and profit. These documents are available by client, work order, staff, and by firm totals.

Invoice Analysis

Invoice analysis documents provide a listing of the total amount of invoices by clients for the period specified. Tax is not included in the invoice amounts.

Work In Process Analysis

WIP analysis documents provide a detailed listing of all time, expenses, billings from WIP, and the applicable write-up/down amounts by client for the period specified.

Budget Analysis

Budget analysis documents detail the actual time worked by each staff member against the time budgeted and the time billed. These documents are available by detailed hours or amounts, or by summary hours or amounts.
