Entering billing codes
Billing codes are entered in the same manner as work codes and work code classifications but are used for completely different purposes. Billing codes are exactly that, codes that are used when billing clients. They represent common text that you want to appear on invoices generated for a common purpose. For example, invoices issued for the preparation of tax returns have a billing code of "TAX" and the custom text, "For tax services rendered as follows,".
