To modify a cash receipt

  1. On the Process menu, click Cash Receipts.
  2. In the Deposit no box, enter the applicable bank deposit number.
  3. If applicable modify the Deposit amount.
  4. In the Receipt No column, select the applicable receipt.
  5. Make any necessary modifications.

    Note: If modifying the receipt amount for an applied receipt, you must click Apply Receipt and modify the amount applied to the invoice.

  6. Prior to clicking Close, ensure that the total in the amount column equals the Deposit Amount.
  7. Ensure that the Unapplied Deposit box displays 0.00.
  8. Click Close.
