Creating a document link

The Helper Application function permits access to other programs from the Document Manager without leaving Time. For example, you can add a document from a helper application such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel to the Document Manager.

In order access another program from the Document Manager, it is necessary to first accomplish the following:

  1. Define the location of the helper application for Time by choosing Helper Applications from the Tools menu and completing the necessary configuration information. Show me
  2. Add the document link to the Document Manager, specifying the file path and name of the document. Show me
