Entering a Text Value into an Alphanumeric Cell

  1. Select the cell you want to modify.

  2. On the Home tab, click Cell.

  3. In the Calculation box, enter the value you want to appear in the cell. Text values must be surrounded by quotes in order to appear correctly, for example, "ABC Company".
  4. Click OK.

Notes

  • You can add special characters to the text in an alphanumeric cell. CaseView supports copy/paste using the Windows Character Map. You can also hold Alt and type in the character's 3-digit character mapping code.
