About Creating an Automatic Table of Contents

Create a table of contents that updates automatically as new pages are entered. Simply specify the styles to be included in the table of contents. For example, include every paragraph formatted with a Heading 4 style in the table of contents. The actual appearance of the paragraph in the table of contents is determined by the format levels, which are specific formatting attributes applicable to the table of contents. Alternately, it is possible to mark specific paragraphs for inclusion in the table of contents. When inserting the table of contents, CaseView builds the table automatically using the table of contents entries and selected styles as a guideline.
