Exporting a Document as RTF

  1. Drag the pointer to select the portion of the document you want to export.
  2. On the File tab, click Export, and then click Rich Text Format (RTF).
  3. Enter the name and path of the export file. Click Browse to locate the folder for the file manually.

Note: CaseView converts the formatting attributes to a format that is compatible with most other word processing packages, but does not include page breaks that may exist in the document.

  4. To export content that has a skip definition defined to it, select the Export conditionally skipped content option. If the box is not selected, any skipped text will be left out of the export.
  5. To export only pages containing the content that is currently selected in the document, select the Export only pages containing selected content option. The selected text and any other text on the same page(s) is exported. If the box is not selected, the entire document is exported.
  6. Click Save.

CaseView creates an export file using the name you entered and places it in the folder specified.
