Copy command

Copies selected text and graphics to the Clipboard. Text and graphics that are copied to the Clipboard replace previous Clipboard contents.

Note: This command is available only when text or graphics are selected.

To copy the selected content to the Clipboard, on the Home tab, click Copy or press Ctrl+C.

Notes

  • You can also copy the formatting of the selected text and apply it to text somewhere else. To learn more about this feature, see Copy Formatting.
