Knowledge Library Index command

Use this dialog to open an existing Knowledge Library Index or to create a new Knowledge Library Index.

The Knowledge Library Index is a database used to control and manage knowledge library files and the knowledge library entries in those files. It provides the user with an easy interface to use when managing, adding or changing Knowledge Library files. With a built-in security it allows the firm to control access to the knowledge libraries and aids in distributing knowledge library changes easily and quickly.

Create New Knowledge Library Index

Select this button to create a new Knowledge Library Index.

Open an Existing Knowledge Library Index

Select this option to open an existing Knowledge Library Index. Select the desired KLI from the list or click More File… to search for another Knowledge Library Index not listed. The KLI Team Login dialog will launch.

Optimize KLI on Opening (requires exclusive access)

Select to re-index and optimize the selected Knowledge Library Index upon opening. Note: Ensure that no other users have the Knowledge Library Index open before selecting this option.
